To allow businesses to reopen the government has stated that risk assessments with HSE (health and safety executive) must be completed, and the certificate is required to be displayed.

To cope with this high demand the HSE is set to receive and extra £14 million pounds in funding to help facilitate with increased calls, inspectors and equipment. 

Other key points the government has outlined are maintaining social distancing, employers are expected to redesign workspaces, stager start times and create one way systems to help keep both staff and customers safe.
