The first thing to consider is whether your chosen venue has enough toilet facilities for your expected guest numbers, and if it has, where they are. Wedding guests don’t want to queue for the toilet, particularly if it means they’ll miss key points in the day (think speeches, cake-cutting, first dance). They also don’t want to have to go on a hike to find the nearest toilet!
Toilet facilities need to be accessible. When viewing your chosen venue, are toilets on the ground level? If not, are there lifts to access them? Will the situation make it too challenging for elderly guests with mobility issues, or families with prams or pushchairs, to access the facilities?
For guests who have travelled a distance to be present at your wedding (and in today’s world very few families and friendship circles are focused around a small geographical area, as they used to be), how lovely to know you value their presence enough to provide luxury facilities for them?

As every celebration is different, there are lots of variables to take into account when calculating how many toilets you need for a wedding. Are you hosting an intimate reception with a handful of guests, or are you expecting hundreds of guests? Are there permanent facilities that will service everyone comfortably or do you need to supplement the amenities to make them more accessible?
