The Covid-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on the way we live our lives and has not only cancelled many large public events, concerts and weddings where Wight Event Toilets would normally be supplying our fantastic facilities to, but it has also altered the more day to day activities such as going to work, school or a church service. One of major changes has been the increased requirement for hand washing facilities.
The likelihood of catching many infectious diseases can be considerably reduced by effective hand washing. There is however, another factor to bear in mind, according to a recent report on the BBC website – and that is the number of times you wash your hands during the course of the day, according to a recent study, people are much less likely to be infected if they washed their hands at least six times a day.
Because of the increased requirement for hand washing and therefore facilities to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus, WET hire has diversified its hire range and is now able to offer a selection of different sized mobile hand washing stations.
The two types of hand washing stations we have included on our hire fleet are both the 2 and 4 person stations. The 4 person station allows bubbles of people to wash their hands together, saving time if there are large bubbles of people that need to use the same facilities quickly, as opposed to the 2 person hand wash stations that are more suited to allowing users to remain socially distant.
All the hand washing stations are completely self contained and can be used outdoors with no requirement for power as the taps are powered by a small foot operated pump.
WET hire can fill the sinks with fresh water, antibacterial soap and paper hand towels as well as offering a scheduled service to remove grey waste water a replenish all consumables.
These mobile hand washing stations have proved very popular in a variety of different situations, including church services, army bases, factories and with the increased requirements within schools for the coming Autumn term, Wight Event Toilets is already taking bookings for schools right up until early 2021!
In Early July 2020 we took delivery of our first batch of hand washing stations and have been taking bookings ever since
WET hire should receive the next delivery of hand washing stations in early August 2020 to further meet customers requirements.
Here at WET hire we are committed to supplying you with toilets, showers and hand washing stations to help you stay safe but also continue to operate.
We still have hand wash stations available for hire, so please give us a call or an email and we would be happy to help.
