Wedding toilet hire for outdoor weddings
Whether you're hosting an outdoor wedding in a picturesque garden or a rustic celebration on a farm, portable toilet hire can be a lifesaver. While it goes without saying that outdoor weddings offer a unique charm and unparalleled photo opportunities, many outdoor venues lack sufficient, or any, toilet facilities to accommodate a large guest list.
Wedding toilet hire for indoor weddings
Even when a wedding venue has permanent toilet facilities available, luxury toilet hire has many benefits. The permanent facilities might be insufficient in number, inconveniently located or inaccessible for everyone. Portable toilets solve this issue by offering a practical, stylish and hygienic solution.
Types of wedding toilets for hire
At Wight Event Toilet Hire, all our luxury toilets for hire are a far cry from the basic plastic models often associated with festivals or construction sites. For wedding toilet hire, our luxury options are available for every size of celebration, catering for numbers up to 400 (the 8 bay luxury toilet and the 4+2 luxury toilet). Our smallest luxury toilet – the 1+1 luxury toilet – will accommodate up to 100 guests and is available in a compact version (the 1+1 compact) for those tighter spaces! These upscale units feature a high-end finish and come with flushing toilets, running hot and cold water, spacious vanity areas with well-lit mirrors, mood lighting, and heaters. They’re ideal for weddings where comfort and aesthetics are a priority.
Economy portable toilets
At WET Hire, we don’t do plastic builders’ loos! But we do recognise that many engaged couples could be working with a smaller budget. With this in mind, our 2 bay economy toilet and our 4 bay economy toilet are ideal. These are cost-effective and practical for small gatherings, providing everything you need without the frills, and will cater for up to 100 and 250 guests respectively.
Disabled toilet hire
Make sure your facilities are inclusive and accessible with disabled toilet hire. These are spacious enough to accommodate wheelchair users and they also feature baby changing facilities ideal for family-friendly celebrations. Choose from the single luxury disabled toilet or the 4+1 luxury toilet with disabled bay.
How many portable toilets do I need?
The number of toilets you’ll require depends on the size of your guest list and the duration of your event. As a general rule of thumb, aim for one toilet per 25-30 guests if the event lasts for a few hours. For a full-day celebration or if alcohol is served, increase this ratio to avoid long queues and potential discomfort.
Considerations when hiring toilets for a wedding
Location and accessibility - choose a level, easily accessible area for the toilets, preferably close to the main event but discreetly tucked away. Ensure there’s enough space for delivery and installation vehicles to manoeuvre.
Guest demographics - consider the needs of your guests, such as elderly relatives or families with young children. Providing a mix of standard and accessible units will ensure everyone is catered to.
Duration of the event - longer events may require additional cleaning services or restocking of supplies like toilet paper and soap.
Aesthetic appeal - for an outdoor wedding, you might want units that blend seamlessly with your surroundings or event décor. Our most popular luxury toilet, the 3+1 luxury toilet, along with many others, has been professionally wrapped in a wood-effect finish.
Wedding toilet hire prices
Wedding toilet hire costs vary depending on the type of unit, and the number required. All individual product descriptions include a ‘price from’ as a guideline, but as all events are unique, we always offer a bespoke quotation. Prices start from £450 +VAT for the 1+1 luxury toilet and £295 +VAT for the 2 bay economy toilet.
